Ladies and gentlemen, the latest addition to the APPLE family- iPhone 5S, 5C

The new iPhone 5s pushes the boundaries of what a mobile phone can do!!

Exciting and nail biting times for all of us who are apple groupies, so subtly put – will buy anything and everything apple comes out with. For the first time ever, not one but two iPhones were launched together. For the first time ever, Apple has made something with a plastic body. For the first time ever, iPhones will be available in an array of "exciting colors". Oh and before we forget, lets talk about the main highlight – Apple iPhone 5s comes armed with not one, but again two technological marvels. The iPhone 5S comes with the A7 chip which Apple claims is the world's first 64 bit desktop-class hardware in a smartphone AND Built into the home button, Touch ID uses a laser cut sapphire crystal, merged with the capacitive touch sensor, which takes high-res imagery of your fingerprint. Touch ID will allow you to authenticate iTunes purchases updates as well as providing security lock to the iPhone 5S.
Through the fingerprint scanner added to its latest flagship smartphone, Apple has provided an enticing glimpse of the not-so-distant future where your handheld device might become a biometric pass to everything that has an impact on your life. Further, many passwords can easily be guessed, while others can be hacked by various, largely inexpensive, sources. Apple said that half of smartphone users don't bother to password-protect their devices, hence the appeal of biometrics.
The iPhone 5C, by comparison, includes Apple's older (and very powerful) A6 processor (used in iPhone5), an 8-megapixel camera, polycarbonate casing without seams or cracks, a higher battery capacity and availability in multiple colours including white, blue, yellow, red and green. Also a part of the package is a front-facing FaceTime HD camera and the device will retail at a price less than the now discontinued iPhone5.
Another feature worth talking about is that both the new handsets will ship with iOS 7, which has a more modern look than previous versions and new major features. For example, swipe up to launch a quick-settings menu called Command Center and the ability to send images to other iOS devices and Macs using AirDrop. Apple announced that iOS 7 would be available for free starting Sept. 18 for existing iPhone 4 (and up), iPad 2 (and up), iPad Mini and fifth-generation iPod Touch users.
The Smartphone war has intensified again with Apple launching a cheaper and a top end device simultaneously. This can only mean one thing – more innovations for us, the users and cheaper prices of competing phones. A win-win situation!
